The idea of performances created from separately practiced and recorded parts is not new. Two of my friends, who sometimes play under the name "Gusty Winds May Exist," recorded a fairly extended piece this way, perhaps five years ago. It worked. ants rule! they certainly do if they're fire ants.yep, what you say. it's just that i'm impressed that stuff like this happens in youtube. what promised at its inception to be not much more than a way for 13 year olds in their parents' basements to share moving pictures of themselves has morphed into an incredible tool. i've been a fan since not too long after its inception.
