actually, like you, we loved halloween as kids, all of it.
picking out the pumpkin[s], carving the pumpkin[s], making popcorn balls and caramel apples [i never liked the red candy ones], making elaborate costumes, going door-to-door for candy, playing tricks on others, eating tons of candy.
and when we got too old to go collecting candy, we dressed up to the nines, put out fake gravestones in the yard, fake spiderwebs draped all over the porch, eerie lights, and a tape of creaking doors, groaning zombies, howling banshees, and the occasional scream.

I stopped after just one. Were you one of those kids who took a shopping bag when trick or treating, one of the really big shopping bags?
