happycat is not happy, that's for sure.

this photo has got practically everythting i love: closeup of cat fur, closeup of eyes, striking colors, just the right caption.

and yes, it ought to scare the living daylights out of teh burdz. unfortunately birds are either too smart to fall for the scarecrow trick or too stupid to care, i'm not sure which, but any method of scaring them away seldom works for long.

I introduced my children to Lolcats this weekend, which seemed better than having to supervise their google searches. Which were about cats. (Hijinks, of course, ensued. Evidently the sight has lots of videos.)

It's also a good weekend to lay off cheezburgers, for that matter.
