Cats are solitary creatures

Not.

That's quite a gang, although some may wonder if they are adopted.

from what i've been reading, momcats do readily adopt each others kittens, especially if they're related.

the first litter probably had multiple fathers, but i'm pretty sure the second litter had only the one.

Yes, in my feral group the Lone Ranger and Tonto, who are sisters, tend to group their kittens at about 3 weeks and ether one will watch and feed the entire group.

If not for the eyes, I'd have thought you removed saturation from that photo...

Ooooh. I could really use that crew...push them up against the front door, and keep out the draft!

I love the little guy meowing at you.

Jesus, I'd hate to have to clean your litter box. I thought I had too many cats.

i think i might have caught her yawning in this photo, but she's one of the talkative ones, so she could very well be meowing at me.

steve, i started with a black dog and a yellow cat, which means my apartment has been decorated in greige for years now. then the additional crew that moved in probably covers every shade of black, white and gray between them.

even curmudgeon cat, who i rescued from the pound literally minutes before his scheduled execution [considered unadoptable because of his very anti-social personality], even he is very sociable with the right dogs, cats, and people.

ps catnapping, curmudgeon cat would gladly fedex them all to you, free of charge. and i don't know if they'd consent to be draft stoppers, but they make a fine blanket.
