Cool stories. I read the first two; they're very well crafted. I tend more toward mystery and detective fiction than crime fiction, but Vachss writes well and spins good tales. Thanks for making your readers aware of him. (Maybe all your other readers already were...)

glad you liked them. they're not my usual taste either, but he writes well enough that he drew me in and i had to finish reading them.

the other 3 links aren't directly to stories. i've added the book two trains running to "the list." the interview is just plain depressing, so i leavened it a little with a link to dog pictures. and of course, the picture in this post is of a yellow dog. you did notice that, didn't you?

Ha! Actually, I didn't! I [heart] yellow dogs, especially of that size or larger. Decades ago, a friend's landlord had a yellow Lab; it was fortunate that that dog and I became good friends. :)
