New biofuels process promises to meet all U.S. transportation needs

And if the Chem E's can't save us, maybe the high school students can.

(I take it the solar or whatever hydrolysis replaces reforming some other hydrocarbon? Good for him. One of the things I hate about my company is the piss-poor access to journal articles. Maybe I'll look up that guy's patent though, if I get curious enough.)

I decline to comment on the productivity of high school kids vs. paid researchers.

yep. they had a solar panel hooked up directly to the hydrogen generator. the truck didn't go very fast, but they had some ideas for going forward from there.

ok, i'll be nice and not say anything about the relative productivities either.
