Still Life with Banana Peel

Wonderful photo. Which reminds me: I bought some bananas today and had best put them somewhere so that Alex can’t get to them to explore (and maul) them. The question is: where is somewhere that a cat can’t get go?

The picture, like the kitten, holds appeal. (Grin, duck, run...)

hipparchia accidentally-on-purpose tosses the banana peel into sb's path

nick: curmudgeon cat hasn't yet figured out how to open the freezer, but i figure it's only a matter of time. not that the freezer exactly lends itself to the proper storage of bananas.

Not still for long, I suspect.

measurable in milliseconds, badtux, if not in microseconds.

You can still use them for smoothies...or so goes the theory. Those questionable ones never seem to make it to the blender after turning brown and vile in the deep freeze.

Hipparchia, that seems like an awful lot of vodka for a kitten. I hope you're sharing it with her.

ynjou: you enjoy it, now.

Ah... it's an adult cat. I didn't notice that in my haste to commit a pun. Sorry, Curmudgeon Cat.

If I could be downed by a banana peel, it would long ago have happened around my own home. A banana a day is typical for me, doctors notwithstanding.

no, you were right the first time, sb, that's one of the newest kittens. curmudgeon cat is the only yellow one in the entire household.

keifus, the vodka's not for me, it's for the rest of the household [someone said banana peels would do] how else am i supposed to get some sleep if i don't drug the wild heathens?

Oh, for the days when everything was new and needed to be examined in great detail so you could determine if it was to be eaten, attacked, or ignored.

:-) zackly.

this one ultimately got ingnored, but most things around here get attacked.
